My Cat, Shadow
Hello! I would like to thank you for your very prompt service in filling all the orders I have placed with you over the years and especially the most recent one placed on July 23. Two of the products I ordered were for my little calico cat, Shadow, the DailySure and the KC for Cats. Shadow came to me in May from the municipal shelter where I volunteer. She is 14 years old and suffers from hyperthyroidism, for which I have been t******* her with ThyroPaws and conventional medicine. She came to the shelter because her elderly owner was hospitalized and subsequently passed away. She was actually scheduled to be euthanized due to her poor physical condition, but I stepped in and took her. Last Thursday, July 18, she suddenly developed a severe upper respiratory infection and I panicked and took her to the vet. She was given an injection of Convenia and one of Metacam. Not only did she not improve, she became very rapidly worse. By Saturday, she had a fever of 105, was not eating at all and was very lethargic. I was afraid she was dying. I managed to get the fever down by wetting her fur and putting a fan near her, but she still looked terrible. On Sunday I began feeding her with a feeding syringe just to get some nutrients and liquid into her. I decided to try herbal remedies and colloidal silver for her. I had only a small amount of DailySure left, as I use it regularly for another of my cats, so I knew I had to get more of that, and I decided to try the cough formula because it appeared that her throat and/or mouth was sore. She developed a sore on her lip on Tuesday so I am pretty sure that what she has is calici virus. I placed my order with you on Tuesday and thankfully received my remedies yesterday, Thursday. I am giving the DailySure 3-4 times per day and started the KC Cats as soon as I got it yesterday afternoon. By last night, Shadow seemed much more alert and began "talking" to me again (she is normally very vocal, similar to a Siamese). She also ate a few pieces of the Kitten Chow I am feeding to my foster kittens. Today she suddenly got up and began walking around the house, jumping up into windows to get some fresh air and sunshine, whereas she had preferred dark, quiet places. Her nose and eyes have quit running although she is still congested. I feel, though, that she has passed a critical stage and is now on the road to recovery. I credit the DailySure and the KC Cats herbal nutrients for this. I did research Convenia on line, obviously too late, and I feel that it caused part of her problem rather than curing anything and from what I found out, I will never let any of my cats get that antibiotic again. I should never have ran off to that vet in a panic like I did, should have tried the natural therapies first. Just wanted to send this note to you as a big THANK YOU for all you do and for caring about animals, not just about money!
Blessings,
Jill Eisenbraun
